We had an amazing experience with Cross Country Movers! Everyone we worked with was incredibly polite and professional. Our movers, Curtis and Antonio, arrived early and worked efficiently. They were careful and attentive with our belongings and did a great job communicating updates. A member of the management/ownership team stopped by to confirm we were happy with our service and everything was going well. It’s very clear that Cross Country Movers cares about their customers and reputation, they did a wonderful job and I highly recommend them to anyone.

I was THOROUGHLY impressed with Cross Country Movers!! They were absolutely amazing from start to finish. They were prompt, professional, and took excellent care of my belongings. As well as being the most affordable after having called several other companies. I had moved into a second story flat in the city and the entrance into my apartment is narrow and small. I was worried that my large furniture wouldn’t fit. BUT, they were able to maneuver each piece in perfectly without an issue!! Sal, Rick, and Chad were awesome, very kind and knowledgeable. They made me feel comfortable and secure. I would highly recommend Cross Country Movers to friends and family!! Thank you guys so much!!

These are scam artists who posed as the original vendor I selected to make my move from Pa to Florida. Quoted one price and it went up at every stage of the move. These movers arrived a day late after our contracted date to pack up my home.There lateness causing me extra fees for rental and lodgings as well as missing the booked travel arrangements by auto train. When the truck arrived in Florida they. held my belongings hostage until I paid nearly $1000 more in cash /or postal money order.When I began to unpack I discovered that they used tall garment boxes to literally dump our belongings into these boxes mixing clothing, dishes, and various items like they literally dumped items into these boxes. One large box got wet and contents were moldy and smelled.Furniture manhandled and ruined. Lamp shades smashed into boxes that were taped like a six year had been sent with large roll of scotch tape. Missing items of furniture. Glass tops to furniture missing.

Now no return phone calls, texts or emails. It’s not a business but rather they rent Enterprise trucks and send workers who do not speak English very well. Only hire this company if you want to be ripped off and have your belongings ruined.

We have moved many, many times, but never had as good an experience. Our furniture included a parlor grand piano. Cross Country Movers sent two trucks and seven men on both ends of our in-state move and provided an extra day of secured storage in their Apopka facility. Carlos and his team took great pride in their work and carefully blanket-wrapped, assembled and reassembled everything as needed. Our positive experience began with Marcela’s estimate and firm quote and ended with a smooth delivery of our belongs on time and in excellent condition. Bravo!

Don’t hesitate to use Cross Country Movers. Seth and Antonio Hill were absolutely amazing. They are so friendly and professional. Had our whole house moved in a day. There is nothing they cannot help with, from taking apart furniture, wrapping your pictures and furniture to ensure it all arrives safe, and setting it all back up in the new place. I would give them 10 stars if I could. Great company and Seth and Antonio are perfect examples of hard work and customer service excellence!

There is a moving company out there that is called 'Cross Country Movers' however it also have other names if you check their license on the FMCSA site.I am not talking about Cross Country Movers of California. I am talking about Cross Country Movers located in Philadelphia, PA. USDOT 2780116. This company is so vicious to the point that they have changed their names so many times. These are the names they used in the past:
CROSS COUNTRY MOVERS, PRODIGY MOVING & STORAGE, APEX MOVING & STORAGE
So basically back on April 2019 I was looking for quotes on a move from Orlando, FL to Philadelphia, PA and I got a reasonable quote from Cross Country Movers with very nice a sweet message promising the best experience ever. After many quotes I decided to go with them, because they offered good price, reasonable transition time, and moving insurance. So I went ahead and booked the move to be done on April-24-2019. After the booking, they requested the deposit to be paid in advance using a credit card. They picked up my stuff on April-24-2019 and they said it would take up to 5 days for the truck to get to PA. So after the pickup I drove with my family and two kids from Orlando to Philly and waited the five days before contacting them. After talking to them they said that the truck didn't even move yet and it would not move until it get's fully loaded! and they asked me to call back. After few more days they said not to call and the driver will call me once they load and ready to head up north.
On May-10-2019 I was running out of patient and I called asking them to give a date when should I expect my stuff? however they hang up the phone on me many times and they said they don't have this information and the driver will call me when they are ready. the 5 days has extended to 30 days and I lived in hell situation in an empty house with 2 kids and no furniture. On May-29-2019 someone called and said that my items are in PA and they could deliver on 29th or 30th. So they came on May-29-2019 in the afternoon and they asked for more money as first flight fees even though I live on the first floor house with few steps up! I had to pay $100 extra just to unload my furniture. After unloading I found the following issues:
- Missing bed headboard
- Missing one box
- Broken coffee table
- Broken dresser
- Dirty and wet mattress
- Broken stroller.

After calling the customer service they said not to worry and go ahead and file a claim. After calling the claim department they said that they will only cover 60 cents per pound if the item is eligible, and they will need up to 60 days to gather evidence and so many documents to process my claim.
So basically after all this bad experience I had to wait 40 days for my stuff to get delivered and lost so many items in the way without any refund or compensation. In short this company lied about so many things and didn't care. Also after researching their record it turn out that there is ongoing law suit from the state attorney of Florida for many bad practices and the owner (Yehoshua Vaknin) is a con artist.
